Compliance with the following Website Submission Guidelines insures your website(s) approval and inclusion in our Directory.

These guidelines are necessary to maintain the degree of Quality we promise our Visitors.

While the Resource Index understands, supports, condones and encourages SEO Marketing , we have established Guidelines for webmasters to adhere to in an effort to offer a high quality web resource to the general public.

Please read ALL of the following Website Submission Guidelines completely. Understanding and adhering to the Resource Index Submission Guidelines will insure the acceptance and listing of your website in the Resource Index.

The Resource Index Submission Guidelines:

1. BASICS:

   1. No Adult listings or Adult related listings will be approved for listing in the directory.
   2. Site's with little to no original content will be immediately diapproved.  Site's which are "under construction" will not be listed.
      
   3. You may submit an unlimited amount of websites to the Resource Index, but if they are not properly categorized they will be disapproved.  We receive too many submissions to change categories for you. (No submissions to the  Root category will be approved.)
   4. Affiliate Links or third party sites such as those hosted on Geo Cities, Homestead, or other third party sites will not be approved.  Quality Blogs from Blogger and other like sites will be approved on a case by case basis.
      
   5. All websites submitted by you must be written/authored by you or you must be an authorized representative of the website owner. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Plagiarists will be banned without recourse. Anyone proven guilty of copyright infringement will have their Information Resource Directory account closed, all websites removed from the directory and be banned for life. We do track IP addresses.
   6. Spamming of this directory will not be tolerated. Submitting multiple copies, (2 or more), of the same website using different Titles, or with only slight modifications is strictly forbidden. Offenders will have their website listings deleted, account terminated and be banned from future submissions by IP Blocking.
   7. Offensive content will be cause for immediate account termination. websites must not promote hate, racism, pornography, hacking, bomb building, terrorism and other illegal and/or offensive activities.
      
   8. - Choosing A Category or Sub-Category
      1. Please choose the best existing category or sub category based on the theme of your website and not the theme of your business.
      2. Suggesting/Requesting a new Category or Sub-Category is permitted. If you are unable to find an existing Category or Sub-Category you feel is appropriate for your website, you can suggest/recommend a Category or Sub-Category by entering it in the Suggest Category Link.
   9. The Resource Index reserves the right to make make minor changes/edits/additions to the above guidelines at any time without prior notice to our Members. However, when there are any changes/edits/additions of a substantive nature to the above guidelines, Members will be emailed notification of upon implementation.
   10. The Resource Index does not accept any responsibility or liability for the use or misuse of the website content on this online directory, by any other publisher. 
       
2. How to Submit Your Site:

                   1.  Browse through our categories until you find the category which suits your site the best.  Then click on the Suggest Link tab at the top of the page.  Submit your information.  Reciprocal links are not required, but encouraged for aiding in your backlinking and link building strategy.
